Dove's Nest is a FREE afterschool program for neighborhood kids ages Kindergarten and up.
The program is primarily geared for elementary-aged kids, but older youth are welcome on a case by case basis.
We provide a safe haven and place for homework assistance, reading support, crafts and games.
We also provide a hot meal and snack in conjunction with the Greater Berks Food Bank as a Kids Cafe' site.
To participate in the Dove's Nest, all children must have a parent or guardian complete a registration form which includes contact information and medical/allergy concerns.
This program is entirely staffed by dedicated volunteers. We are always looking for more helping hands. If you are interested in volunteering even one day a month, please contact us! Child safety clearances are required, but are provided at our expense if you do not have current clearances.
Our volunteer coordinator is Carmen Kosmerl who may be reached through the Church Office or firstname.lastname@example.org
